Hi, I'm Michelle! (she/her) ๐
I'm a designer who's endlessly curious about how people think, and equally obsessed with making their lives a little easier because of it. Most recently, I was a Product Designer at Develop for Good, designing products for a non-profit. Before that I worked on BeFreed, a consumer AI product that reimagined how people learn and consume content.
My path here started in Vancouver, BC, where I grew up, and eventually led me to Cognitive Science at UBC โ where, as a first-generation university student, I was very much figuring it out as I went. Turns out that studying "why do people make decisions" was the perfect accidental on-ramp into design. I'm now deepening that foundation as an M.S. student in Human Factors & Information Design at Bentley University, where I get to focus on research-driven design, usability, and making information actually make sense to people.
